Copyright Clearance Center, Inc. (CCC), required to adapt product suite for German locale
June 26, 2012 — BOULDER, CO — Software internationalization firm Lingoport announced today that it released an internationalization case study outlining the successful internationalization of a multi-variabled application suite to help meet the international business demands of Copyright Clearance Center (CCC).
The case study, crafted by Senior Globalization Lead Olivier Libouban of Lingoport, highlights the challenges inherent with developing a multi-layered business application for a new locale. “The two teams were able to work together to bake-in internationalization into the product suite while concurrent development was taking place,” says Libouban. He continues, “The pressure of operating under a tight deadline did not affect the quality of our work as the end customer was more than satisfied.”
The project presented unique circumstances as different parts of the application suite were developed over an extended period of time and developed with different technologies. This made team cohesion all the more important. “We asked Lingoport to work under difficult circumstances, with very aggressive goals and limited resources,” says CCC Principal Engineer John Boyea. He adds, “We were pleased that Lingoport was able to meet these requirements.”
