Talia is a Product Growth & Global Strategy Executive, working cross-functionally to make products make sense in the global multicultural marketplace. She has 20 years’ experience leading internationalization, localization, international product management, global growth strategy, and go to market strategy at Google, VMware, LinkedIn, and SurveyMonkey. She is founder of Yewser, helping companies accelerate global growth from the ground up, winning adoption in local markets on a global scale. Talia adds the cultural and regional factors in product behavior and value-prop positioning to optimize for customer decision making on key funnels in international markets: discoverability, customer acquisition, engagement, conversion, retention and brand loyalty.
Talia is also an Entrepreneurship Advisor at the Google Accelerator for Applied Machine Learning innovation technologies in Emerging Markets, and mentors Google’s portfolio startups. She is Co-Founder of GlobalSaké, a non-profit organization, creating a collective cross-border, cross-culture community of industry leaders for knowledge share. Talia teaches the Grad School MBA program at Middlebury Institute of International Studies in Monterey, and Global Digital Marketing at San Francisco State University. She is a regular speaker at international conferences (LocWorld in Berlin, Dublin, Silicon Valley, GetGlobal in LA, TAUS, Product Tank, Unicode, i18n iMUG, and SF Globalization).
